Hey, do you think any person or system in this whole universe is perfectly perfect? Definitely not! So as we. But can’t we be better than our previous selves? Yes Offcourse. We can definitely be.
The Improvement cycle is a process of continuously working on improving a system over a course of time. Before moving on further let’s get clear about “How does life practically change?”
To answer the above Q first let us understand WHAT parameters life depends on. And then HOW does life practically change? So what is a Change in life mean? It simply means, Changing our present in order to have a better future by learning from our past at the same time. But have you ever thought that anything in our life, any incident, any happening, Where this all come from? Does it is a single-step process like making a little change now and it will have an effect lifelong? No, Right? it’s all just the outcomes of actions that are repeated over a course of time. In Simple words, they are our HABITS! Our habits are the only parameter where every single happening, every joy, and sorrow, anything ..like our whole life experience depends on this one single terms i.e HABITS! A set of actions that are repeated over the course of time that directly adds/cut-off values in our life, hereby giving the accepted experienced.
So now we are well clear that HABITS are the changing factors. So What further? Yes, you guess it right, “Just adding up Good habits and removing the bad ones is the key to practically changing life” hear I remember one of the thought-provoking quotes from Dr. A.P.J Abdul kalam which exactly resembles the above saying. He say like “If you want to change your life, Change your habits and your habits will change your life”
So now Is everything over? No, not yet. You might be well clear to the fact Human mind doesn’t unless and until it see the result and at the same time result never comes at the beginning. So even if we decided to start up a new habit it will not most probably not continue further. So What to do? Start giving yourself a reward, anything which you like to do from the inner wall of your heart, and then see the CHANGE IN LIFE.
THE IMPROVEMENT CYCLE
If at all we have to start up with a new habit, Why not make the above learning a Good Habit to start on? It Means the Habit of improving ourselves on a fixed interval of time. Can say “Habit of Habits” This reflects on the term “Improvement cycle” i.e Getting a particular time of ourselves once a month and start looking for new Good Habits to add on and the Bad ones to be removed for the betterment of ourselves. Because unless and until we don’t give ourselves a particular time it will most probably won’t be possible and even it takes exactly a month (i.e 21 days) to add on or remove a habit….
One last thing, Which I personally want to add on “The habit of Reading”. One of the best habits I ever encounter ….you can also try it
Lastly, Don’t you think just applying this single little thing, We have the control of life to live it to the fullest ……
