The “In-Hand” concept …

A single best concept that will restructure the way you think, will open up the doors of possibilities, equality, and freedom ultimately making you limitless ….. Let’s try to understand it together

Hey there, the other day I was watching one of my favorite movies named “Chhichore” and surprisingly the last part of it….. just struck my mind hard and added it to a deep thinking state. It was like “Beta tumhara result decide nhi karta ki tum loser ho ki nhi, tumhari koshishe decide karti hai” and at the same time the other dialogue from again one of my favorite movies named “3-idiots” pop up into my mind. It was like “Success ke piche nhi, Excellence ke piche bhago, Succces zakh marke tumhare piche aayengi”.

The mind answered, there is something deep these lines are willing to explain and I came up with this concept. It is like ” To focus on the things that we can control and not on the ones that we cannot” or ” Focus should be on action and not on the outcomes”. But Why? Why we should only be focused on actions? Let me ask you a question. What is the parameter on which the outcome depends? Or Is the Outcome something IN our HAND? Most of you may say Yes it is! So Why a particular student gets 90% in an exam whereas the other student gets 80% at the same time? If at all the outcomes are in there hands, they would defiantly go for 100%. Why to be satisfied lower than the maximum, right? Here we came to the conclusion that the Outcome is not something in our hands. The outcome is just our EXPECTATION based on our actions i.e the parameter on which the outcomes depend. Just imagine if at all we transfer our whole attention towards action and not to the outcomes, then What changes will occur? There will be NO FEAR of failure. NO SELF-DOUBT. Success will not go into your head and failures will not go into your heart as in both cases outcome was not your goal. So finally Does outcome really doesn’t matter at all? No, it definitely does but just think if at all you are successful in making good sort of actions so what is the thing that will stop you from getting the desired outcome, it will definitely be there but What if you fail? You will be unaffected as outcomes were not your goal. God has a better plan for you ….

This simple concept when applied to real-life examples just totally blew my mind as it opens the ‘Gloden door’ to a life full of possibilities, and equality hereby making one extraordinary. Let’s try to apply it.

Equality:

• Just imagine you are in a park and there are a few people making fun of a Black colored man who was very kind to them. Now you will say it’s totally unequal to treat him like that. Yes, You are right! but where does this equality comes from? Just from a Simple Q, i.e “Was being black in color IN-his HANDs?  Was it something under his control? Definitely Not! So why judge a man for anything that he cannot control? Don’t you think this concept helps in making out clear judgment.
• Now let’s take a current example … If you are in your early twenties like me so you will most probably be facing one of the highly competitive fields like me. Just think what if you fail? You will cry like a hell, right? and you should be if you haven’t worked hard in your past time. But you should definitely NOT if at all you have given your 100% in your preparations. You have done your job well on the actions ..now whatever the outcome may be. Because you were the actual fighter you have the face this world … full of inequality where everyone just focuses on outcomes (so-called results) and not on the one that worked hard. DON’T CALL YOURSELF A LOSER IF YOU WORK HARD.

Being limitless: 

• Now let’s understand how it makes one extraordinary. The other day I read one of the quotes from Bill Gates which was based on this concept which totally opened my mind to new possibilities in life. It was like ” IF YOU WERE BORN POOR ITS NOT YOUR MISTAKE BUT IF YOU DIE POOR ITS YOUR MISTAKE ” Now let’s get clear about what a mistake is? Simply defined as anything we can do but we haven’t done it, right? So what exactly he was willing to teach us indirectly, is that being rich is something IN our HAND, something we can control. Now it has opened a new door for the mind to think on …because now you know it is something you can control just the thing is you don’t how to do that but you definitely can learn it.
• So in many ways, this single concept can help us to live a new life. A life full of equality, and new possibilities thus making one limitless. Any time in your life if you think that there is anything you can’t control, anything which is not in your hand, then think twice. Just ask yourself, Is there anyone you have done it well? and most probably there will be, So definitely even you can. Now here the biggest blunder is to rely on LUCK factor, which most people get stuck on. Nobody in this world is LUCKY just they know to way to do that with a strong positive belief. So the next time just say to yourself, This is something I can do, but just the thing is I don’t know how to do that, so How can I do that? Thus everything in this world is possible.
