HARDWORK is NOT a Key to Success

Yes, you heard that Right! Hard work is not the key to success. Now you may think, How would you say that .. Where the whole other world is just trying to remind me now and then that HARD WORK is the only key to success. Let’s try to answer it together. 

First of all, What do you mean by Hard work? The beautiful answer itself is given by google, it says that Hardwork is “a great deal of effort or endurance” and if you put one more step ahead and try to search What does the word “endurance” mean here? Google answers something like “the ability to continue doing something painful or difficult for a long period of time without complaining” Doesn’t it sounds like “Slavery” to do something which our mind is not at all willing to do which only gets motivated with the Outcomes just like the owner holds the carrot in front of a donkey and he walks according to him (please don’t find my words harsh, it is just a kind practice to open up with your mind) Let’s compare it with our daily life…

Why do we want a drug of motivation for the super luxurious life of IITs and AIIMS? it is just like that the carrot that the whole world is holding until the work is done. Hey, dude, it’s just four years of life, and then What? You have to do the work which you do not like to do for the rest of your life and Now you called yourself a successful person, is it really? Now you may say “I want the so-called love for the machines, it’s my passion” ….to be true it is just a Golden line said by yourself to convenience your mind doing the work that is Hard and the best indicator to check is, Do you get distracted while studying? Do you feel like you are pushing yourself to do the work ( in this case Studying ) …Be honest ..YES right! it is just because your mind doesn’t want something which he doesn’t at all like to do. This statement will get more apparent as you understand the second part. 

Now, what’s the solution to that? Why not do the work that we love to do? Which does our mind want to do Day and Night? Does something like that really exists …And the answer is Yes! It’s called the PASSION – A true blessing from GOD, given to all of us just we have to take a little time for ourselves and try to figure it out. Do you ever tried to hear the words of great personalities, and the only thing they say is “FOLLOW YOUR PASSION”. I am glad to keep my English textbook still handy so as to read it often as it contains the eye-opening speech given Steavs Jobs. He says like 

“The only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work, and the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking, and don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking, don’t settle.” – Steave Jobs 

Now finally as we started, Do you think doing the work we love to do can be called HARD WORK? Definitely Not. So Ultimately HARKWORK is not the key to success.
